That CL add actually kinda disappoints me. I thought my truck was still worth more than that.

So I posted in the Suspension forum looking for some recommendations for thelift and upgrade on suspension parts and was hoping I could get some info fromyall.

    I have a 2001 2WDDouble Cab Prerunner with 126,000 miles.

Going with Bilstein5100 set at 2.5 in the front with Front shock replacement bushing/washer kitfrom Toytec. For the rear I am using a 1"block with new u bolts and going to replacethe shock with something off RockAuto.

Don't want to gettoo far into the rear suspension because I have a bad right leaf spring (ITHINK) and don't want to fork out the money for new leafs and the problem notbe a leaf.

I bought thisused in 2006 and never had any alignment issues.

Could someoneplease recommend a rear shock other than a Bilstein and do I have everything Iwill need for my lift??

I’ve decided toget the LBJ and UBJ from Toyota Parts Overstock.com because of everything I’veread on the forum and the pics posted with it. They also are cheaper even withshipping compared to my local Toyota dealership.

Going with MOOGfrom RockAuto for TRE’s unless yall can show me something I haven’t seen.

I’m ordering newbolts for the LBJ’s so I know everything is new.

I’m based out ofGalveston and live in Dickinson and will hopefully be doing the work with a friend who has at leastswitched out the Bilstein’s before. Hopefully if our schedules match up we willbe able to figure it out and get everything installed before I transfer out inabout a month.

Anyone that wouldlike to lend a hand that has done this before I’d really appreciate the help.

Did I mention I make my own BEER?!?!

Where are you at in Houston? If you want to go the add a leaf route instead of the block I could probably hook you up with some old leafs I have laying around. I went that route on my truck and I'm very pleased with it. Blocks and questionable leafs are just asking for trouble.

I don't usually spend much on rear shocks. It's leaf suspension anyway so if you're just driving up and down the highway something from the autoparts store will work. You will probably need to go longer than stock even for 2-3 inches of lift. I have some auto zone cheepos and can't complain about them.

    Did I mention I like BEER??? :D

Edit: My ADD or something is bad tonight I didn't read well. I see you're in Galveston/Dickinson area.
