Debadged, took off front mud flaps, prevent tailgate theft mod, Magnaflow 18" muffler, Bilstein 5100s front and rear w/ front @1.75, wet okoles, plasi dipped front emblem, weathertechs, scangauge, toolbox, Bed pocket lights, BHLM, T1 eyelids, BAMF sliders, Bruteforce Fab rear bumper

I had a hybrid and full skids with 5100s at 1.75" and I lost about 1/2" or 3/4." So I'd have to guess you'd be right at about 2" if you set them at 2.5"

Am I allowed to post here I have a access cab? but I have the 2.7L which is why I want to get your advise...

Any problems running 33's as far as power or pickup in lower gears without regearing? I see a lot of your rides are running 33's...

No. You cannot post here. Jk

It's definitely noticeably more sluggish. But it's nothing unbearable. Rarely do I ever think about it being an issue. I guess it depends on where you live though. It would suck having to drive on the mountains all the time on stock gears.

1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
We don't like your kind around here boy.!

Haha j/p I feared the same thing back in the day when I made the switch. You feel a little difference but in the end when you hop out and look and at your truck and when you see people stare like damn that's a nice truck it becomes well worth it.

Plus we're all 2.7L it's not like we're really going anywhere from the start

Finally took another pic of the new taco. hudy8a6y_7f9cc11e6a141282070ab622ceb09e9acdb6c1f7.jpg

My first new vehicle purchase, so it'll be a slow build. Plans for a lift, 285s, some bronze countersteer X's, LCE header and a brush guard. Zero fucks given about the damage protection.

Nah, unless it's in a few years. I'll be staying away from the Mississippi Delta though.

You get tired of the fj or just miss driving a 2.7?

Mainly just missed having a truck. I loved my old 2.7 and I loved the FJ too but it got like 12 mpg and I think the torque converter was about to go which normally calls for a new transmission.

How did your truck sit with the bilsteins at 1.75 and the hybrid? Did you have any rear lift or stock?

I feel like the problem with this is, when you put all of the weight on front it might look alright to begin with but those factory springs are gonna sag much more quickly.

If you've already got the 5100's might as well do the OME springs. You will be much happier with the finished product. I had my 5100's at 2.5 and it was brutally rough. Now I've got 885's and the ride is so much better!!!

Can you put OME/Eibach springs on the stock struts?

I'm not sure, it would really compress the springs a lot and the stock shocks aren't valved for it so it would probably ride pretty rough. Why not just get 5100's to lift it now and new springs when you can afford them?

Perfectly level. I didn't have any lift in the rear at the time. Check out my build. I don't think I even have any pictures since I've changed my suspension and added the 255s

I was really just wondering more than anything... I'm a ways out from getting a lift, although when I do I will probably go with some coilovers.

On another note, I removed the secondary filter today. I forgot how much of a difference it makes, with stock size tires at least. I don't remember feeling much on my other truck, but I did have bigger heavier tires to spin.

When did you get rid of the FJ and return to a single cab?

I would have kept the FJ and built it. It would be my tiny little tank.
