So, how was Log Corral? Not sure how much rain you got out there, but it wasn't too much in town.

    it was great.

took my buddy through with 33s and a 3 inch lift with no sliders, a ton of trucks have been through there recently. he got a little body damage in 2 spots and we had to do some rock stacking. quite a bit to get him through without body damage.

did the entire 393 on saturday, i didnt come across anything washed out and i drove all the way to pavement. everything towards the road was pretty smooth. i feel like it had to be graded after you went or something cause it was literally so easy.

caught some nice fish. caught a 5 pounder large mouth, only real good one.

also caught a carp on live shad, interesting.

sunday i hit head on with a dirtbiker leaving....... he was hauling balls. broke his tibula and his fibula. we threw him in my truck and took him to the hospital.
it was so scary. definitley will always haunt me.

Flip flops in mines are no bueno :(

And for those wanting some geological info on the mine we will be visiting on Sat:

    http://www.mindat.org/loc-32793.html

The Black Diamond Mine consists of 4 working adit (horizontal tunnel) levels; No 2 crosscut, No 3 crosscut, Dividend and Bagge, along with many smaller workings. The main working levels are spaced approx 200 feet in altitude from each other, down the southeast slope of Black Diamond Peak. Three of the major levels. No 3, Dividend and Bagge, are connected vertically by at least 3 winzes (vertical passages between levels), that were used of either ore transport, manways, or both. All told, there are approximately 24,530 feet (around 5 miles) of tunnel and shaft workings.

Jesus dude! I always worry about head-ons with bikes and quads on some of those sand washes that have so many blind turns.

Odd that you had such an easy time on the 393. The thing was narrow on the ledges and we had to get creative on quite a few of the switchbacks that were pretty badly rutted out. We spent some time shoveling and throwing rocks into some of them to get Steve through without ripping off his rear bumper. It was such a slow run. You run trails differently though. Maybe they did end up grading it afterwards, but I doubt it. We probably just wussed out.

yeah man it will always be in the back of my head now.... it sucks really bad.

the guy had to get surgery and he got a rod from his knee to his ankle....

im pretty sure they did grade it because i think i saw where a tractor pushed off dirt to the side of the trail a few times.
there was some new stuff in a big locked box buried by one of the springs. and where the box opens there is like a rail system that would bring a pump or something out to a man hole type cover. brand new locks and paint, literally couldnt be more than a few weeks old.
they had to grade it, especially if you guys needed to use a shovel and stack some rocks, i felt like i could have gotten my car through there!! almost. LOL
i know where your talking about where the switch backs are and they were all filled in and smooth, they had to have patched the road or something!

andrew im trying to go to tucson next weekend to do some wheeling, anything going on?

I think that was a screenshot that was done later on that day. Although I did in some spots. That pic was taken 500 feet underground.
