Don't buy rims from these guys!

Two Wednesdays ago I ordered a set of Motometal 955s 16s from rimzoneonline.com. They were about $20 a rim cheaper than anyone else online AND free shipping be here in 3 to 4 days. Well..they are still not here. i called last thursday to check on em..they said theyd call me right back they ddint know what happened to the order. Well I never heard from em..called em back Friday am and said yea they were never shipped we're overnighting them and you'll have em Monday. Well its 10 PM monday and they aint here. Pure crap for service.

Im calling them tomorrow a.m. bright and early and giving them my opinion of em and getting my money back. If they give me any issues I'll be driving from Georgia to North Carolina to get my $685 back in person. It amazes me how some people run a business successfully with this kind of service. Anyway..does anyone have a good reputable online wheel source? Ill gladly pay that extra $150 bucks for the extra cost and shipping. They're not getting my money.

 

I never had a problem with them when I ordered my wheels for my Tacoma. Then again this was 2 years ago.

 

threaten to report them to the better business bureau of your home state or even their home state. that'll get them moving!

Im thinkin what happened is they probably just told me they were overnighting them after I called about my order..but not wanting to have to pay the overnight cost didnt really do it. How can you take $685 from a customer and forget to send the product??? Its unbelievable lol. Sorry if I sound like im venting guys..just dont want this to happen to anyone else.

 

I was planning on ordering some wheels from them but figured I'd just get my wheels/tires locally. I went to Discount Tire Company and they price matched the price of the wheels and are also including free lugnuts since rimzoneonline offers them free.

 

Rimzoneonline's prices are cheap, but you don't need to order from them if you can find local stores. I got my wheels from 4wheelparts pricematched too.

BBB has no regulatory or law enforcement powers. Worse they can do is kick a member business out. 99.9999% of consumers do not check with the BBB before buying anyways.

 

Update..Called again to check on my order today. I was told on Friday that they were overnighting them to me and Id have em yesterday(Monday). Well I called em and they have no tracking number and said he could not get in touch with the distributor where they were coming from and that he would have to call me back. This was at 10 a m this morning..never got a call back from em today and I was too busy at work to bother with it. He said the owner guarunteed they'd be to me on Wednesday now. I gave him an earful and he pawned it off on the distributor for dropping the ball. I told him I didnt want any excuses that I wanted my rims or my money back either way. I'll let u guys know if they ever show up..

 

Another place NOT to order from is vqmotoring.com. Floria Company Ordered from them and never wanted to return my money after weeks of not shipping the wheels. Luckily credit card company was able to take off charge for me.
