Hey thanks bro. But, Sometimes calls sit on the dispatcher's screen for a while for unknown reason. I don't know if the dispatcher isn't paying attention or what is going on there. Sometimes they run the information through teletype to make sure that it hasn't been towed or maybe sometimes the brother or sister or mother has the bike, car or whatever. Over with calls do not get dispatched right away leaving the officer there to take the heat from the victim. Most of the time the county has a three to four hour wait sometimes for in progress calls. We have been getting slammed with robberies and burglaries lately. It's hard to find time to eat in 12 hours lately. I apologize for the wait time But it has been busy lately. To be honest with you I am still 2 reports down from robbers I caught the past couple of night and can't seem to catch up. Plus I have stat reports to do for last month and training logs to go. So, I am going to working on my days off. Meh, It's raining anyway...ha ha ha

Well what makes me mad is the fact that I called back after 20 minutes and the dispatcher said "an officer was on the way but made a tr... Had an emergency stop, they will be there shortly" she almost got the whole "traffic stop" out.

hmm dunno. I mean if it's not an in progress call it usually gets shoved to the back. You could have 10 or 15 calls ahead of you priority wise. dunno. Officers should not do traffic stops on the way to calls. Dude I had to wait 30 min at an accident scene for one of our own officers the other day When I was at work...lol. It happens. It could take me 30 minutes just to drive through traffic in orlando sometimes.

Yeah oh well. Nothing I can do about it now. It was the second bike stolen in my condo complex this week, but the HOA decided not to notify anyone so I had no idea. Had I known it would have been in my parents garage. I called every motorcycle parts dealer in central florida with my vin and sent pictures. Everyone's looking for my bike. I might go buy an old f4i, strap an IED under the seat and wait for it to get stolen. I pull up, my bikes gone, I make a phone call and *boom* problem solved.

Just kidding. I don't know how to make those and I never will. Please don't arrest me. Or have NSA look through my browser history. Too much porn.

Yeah man believe it or not OPD has a very good response time. We are actually looking at improving that in the near future as well. All in all I would say that the citizens of Orlando are very lucky to have such a good Dept. I hear horror stories from other places in the county all the time. Makes me cringe dude. But with the resources OPD has we do the best we can in a 12 hour shift. Man it's hard out there with traffic and stuff to be Jhonny on the spot all the time but we try. And of course you gotta figure that if we can get people to stop calling the police for Bull S&^%$, (AKA Baby daddy drama, He got my keys) it would free us up for the real crimes. Also, in today's day and age I can't see why a report like that could not be done online by the victim in 5 minutes?? Why wait an hour when he coulda been done in 10 minutes online? Also when you think about it there are certain areas of the City that have more officers than others, IE..Parramore, ETC.. Sorry John Q. taxpayer gets screwed on that one..
