How much you end up paying for it? They usually fetch a pretty penny at the dealers.

Its a dark metallic gray. So much awesome.

 

That's how the dealership listed it.. but it's a Sport Edition for sure. No smoked headlights, but halogen projectors.

My 4Runner friend had a Prius hybrid badge on his tailgate (like I do) and when he traded it in, the dealer listed it as a 4Runner V6 Hybrid. So don't listen to the dealers... Ever. I know more about the vehicles I look at than the salesmen do lol

We got it for 19,300 with a 4 year warranty and since I don't have kids or will have kids I had to give them a pint of sperm.

Took a few tugs to fill up the cup but we are good.

Edit: it seems to be a mix of different versions. Leather interior, but no Nav, halogen head lights, etc. Either way it runs great and has a great service record, drives good and is perfect on the inside. I'm a bit jelly

oh yeah, and its always in 4hi.. the selector switch is 4hi or 4lo only. Never seen that before, threw us off.

 

Need to buy ballasts and new headlights right now

 

That's the reason I didn't get the V8. I wanted selectable 4wd.

I love the AWD we have though. I can be in 4HI all the time on dry pavement. Then I lock my center diff and away we go!

Now I'm kicking myself for not getting the V8. I want that power for towing and such. The V6 just doesn't have enough balls.

The only issue with getting a V8 4R is that in order to supercharge it, you need an 03 or 04 because those didn't have that stupid air injection bullshit.

 

4runners are nice. I tried to convince my gf to get one but they were too expensive for what she wanted to spend. Although if she could have anything she says she would want an fj
