    anyone around Seattle need some Action Packers and want to split the cost with me? I'm looking to pick up both the 24 gal and 8 gals. Home Depot sells a 4-pack of the 8 gals for $91.85 so it would be 2 for $46. the 24 gallon 4-pack is about $140 before tax but there is no free shipping so i'd wait for a deal on those. pm me if interested.

    Fuck me. I use the correct tool and I still do damage. I just can't win. I got the passenger side done. After the ball joint finally separated (using a ball joint separator tool) I got everything out and put back in. I even got the bolt positioned like it was oEM so I could properly torque it.

    Then I went to the drivers side. Where the squeak actually is. Used the ball joint tool again and it fucked 2 threads up. Wasn't able to the castle but back on. So out came the demel for some delicate work. Finally got the but back on but I didn't even attempt to get the arm off.

    Contemplating ordering a new ball joint from LR and just beating the old one loose. Supposedly I can change the sleeves without breaking the ball joint apart, but when I stopped I was tired and frustrated. So thought that before I break anything I better just stop for now. Will try again next week

    Would anyone be interested in a FIRE SUPPRESION SYSTEMS for are trucks.

    usually would be run in the engine bay but can be adapt to anywhere really.

    A little info;

    the Fire Bottle System is an on-board fire suppression system designed for most types of race cars. It’s mounted in the car with tubing and nozzles pointed at the driver. In the event of an on-board fire, the driver pulls a T-handle that immediately releases a chemical calledhalon. The fire is extinguished quicker than conventional emergency personnel could reach the car.

    “Halon is a liquid that turns into a gas,” Skaggs explained. “It’s the same product that’s used in aviation and by NASA. We were looking for something that could put a fire out, but that wouldn’t harm a driver if it was inhaled.”

    Hey guys. I put on a new sticker today. I have a bad habit of over-analyzing looks and whatnot, and was hoping for honest opinions. Too many? Too much color maybe? Remember, it's a girls truck, so if it looks gay...well duh. But if I'm going it look dumb driving around town, I would like to know before hand :)

    Mitch, let me know if you need an extra hand. I've never worked with UCA ball joints but I rebuilt my camburg uca's last summer. Bushings, sleeves, uni balls, all changed out.

    I'll let you know. I've been told I can change the sleeves without taking the spindle off. I might try that.

    Otherwise I'm almost to the point of ditching the LRs and getting uniballs

    Lindsey, on your truck, the stickers aren't balanced. Either add another one on the lower right, similar in size to the Oregon, or pull the Oregon off. As for the colors, do what you like, but before putting stickers on, use some scotch tape to out it on temporarily then step back and look at it. Makes it easier to move stuff around as well to find what you think is the best location.

    I will drive out Saturday, and back home Monday. I booked a 2 bed hotel down toward the area.

    Jamisyn, you should sign up for Tough Mudder. It is fun, and there is beer involved (but not until after the course has been run).
