Updated the main post with the abbreviated (shortened) as well as Regular / non-abbreviated (non-shortened) name.

We gonna (going to) have small-kine (a small amount or if used as a irony, large amount) of fun, grinds (food), and is garins (guaranteed) to have pics (pictures), vids (video) and stories to tell.

I hoping that the one thing that doesn't have a "local" twist to it will be the timeframe.. No hawaiian time that 10:00 really means 10:50-ish.... 10 is 10, and (Cause Miles is leading) 11 is 11..

Wow, you guys are going that late? You probably wont make it to the campsite by lunch! Looking through the pics from my last peacock flats trip, Last picture taken at yokohama beach parking lot was 11:19am, first pic at campsite was 2:04pm. We did stop a lot to snap pics tho...

Picked up a new 4P tent for the excursion. Was gonna go with the base MWR rental, but I figured I needed a new tent anyways. Had one before I was married...Ex wanted it gone... Now she's gone so.....:D

Would be nice to have a CVT, but not sure I would use it enough to warrant the over the top price. Now if this was Colorado!!:D

Totally. I just went with a cheap Coleman. And I agree about being back home. If this was a trip in WA I would have dropped more for something better.

I was gonna get a Coleman as well, but I opted to spend a few more dimes and get a tent that will last me for another 8 years without leaking. (Daughter graduates from High School then...:))

Being a Marine for 21 years, I've slept in many shelter half's, field tents with no heat and just sleeping on bare ground in the mountains and desert. Now that I'm retired...it's time for something that doesn't smell like it came out of a supply warehouse and was used by 200 other Marines and leaks when it rains. I'll be dead soon, so I mind as well start enjoying the finer things in life...:D

You can get lobster on any ship. If you get Surf 'N Turf you're getting bad news.

They used to have Marine Detachments on the carriers to guard the Nukes and run the Brigs back in the day. Till one of the Marine Detachments PT'd a sailor to death and they took the Brigs away from us.:D The Marine berthing had a steel door that was guarded. In our spaces we replaced all the push button shower heads with full on hands free shower heads. The Navy never knew because we didn't let them in our berthing space. Those plastic push button heads with the wide mist mode dispense were shit. We cheated...life was good..:D
