The critical care is not as bad as it sounds. They are just verifying I have no internal injuries/bleeding.
Surgeons are mulling over whether to go ahead and start putting a plate/screws in or wait till the morning.
I was sidestepping coming down the stairs (which I always do) and my right ankle went, then the knee and hello hip bone, meet solid oak floor.
So... It happens. I need to finish letting this phone charge, its a nurse's.
I'll try and update when I can. Cheers!

Ok, but this still sucks. I'll be in touch. Do you have anyone there in SC, or is anyone coming? Gonna be tough for a little while. :(

    Holy Shit, he's serious.

Man I hope you're okay. I know being injured and living alone with no family in the area is a hard.

I'll be thinking of you brother.

Lookin good. Got me into surgery late last night.(coupla screws and a plate)
Didn't sleep very well as the beds seem to come alive with some kind of self adjusting air bladders.
Just had a good breakfast and waiting on the physical therapy guy to come around to tell me when I can go home.!!
They said I was " a pretty young fella" and should heal up nicely. Lol.

This morning it sounded like he might be going home soon. They put a plate and couple screws in his hip. Hope we'll get an update this morning sometime. I got a couple PMs from him ... he seems in good spirits.
