    You guys seem to be some knowledgable wire guys. I ordered a retrofit kit, with some halos. I want to make it so the amber halos will alternate with the turn signals. How would I wire that up?

    It's one of those; lots of rocks out there, lots of Tacomas with icons, but how many rocks with icon Tacomas :)

    I was trying to think if I knew the truck.. I don't think I have ever seen yours inlerson before! I did see the headlights behind me and think.. I wonder if that's anybody I know?

    Can just tap into the turn signal. Easiest way.

    you want something like a switchback? white while on and flash yellow with the blinker?

    tapping into the blinker signal would only have it flash with the blinkers.

    running a relay may or not be needed, depending on what you're trying to do.

    would also need the wiring schematic of the headlight assembly to match it up properly.

    id buy a bed rack or a canopy for my taco. I have a full size truck lumber rack I was going to try cut down and make a canopy/dog bed/tool box thing for my truck but I suck at welding.

    If i am kinda thinking this through, the ambers could be like you your DTRL. If you already have DTRL then cool, of not, then you would have to do the DTRL mod. Only thing with the DTRL is that it turns off when you have your headlights on.. (i gotta check, but I'm not sure they flash when turn signal is going but headlights are on)..
