Not sure if it'll work or not. I followed the plans in the book I'm reading, but the boards don't line up. Not sure if the plans were intended for unplaned lumber or ?
Big gaps between the levels, though. I'm wondering if the dirt is going to flow when there's a heavy rain?
Oh well. If it does, I'll empty it out this fall and modify the design.

So im growing bored with my suspension lift. I want to go higher. I have the OME 3" with dakars in the back. Would it be a ok to add leveling kit spacers on top of the suspension and blocks in the back? I would have to do a diff drop and probably a thicker spacer for the carrier bearing and longer break lines. What else if anything would i have to do?

 

I got it down to 12,and yes they do!

Oh. Well im not looking to break the bank here. Plus its my only means of transportation. So are my thoughts just wishful thinking? Just a bad idea all around?

 

Stay away from spacers... And blocks... And the diff drop for these trucks does absolutely nothing. With IFS any lift that isn't a true suspension lift, ie. utilizes spacers, blocks, drop brackets etc, is going to do more harm than good, especially if you take your truck offroad. If you want more lift, look into saving your pennies for a long travel setup. Or a purpose built mid travel setup from icon or fox, etc. mind you the highest mid travel set ups can go without components breaking pretty often is around 3". Anything above that is silly because you loose the down travel in the suspension.

 

Critical choice brother, long travel or SAS.

 

Depends how much you wanna spend. You have a capable truck now. If your gonna go big. You could look at trail rig and keep your DD.

 

plus the short bed is a bit better to park than the long bed, and the cost of a long bed is more than the short
