Until you or someone close to you has been threw the pain of a loved one being hurt by someone else's hand , then you tell them they can't have some closure. I was on a jury where the convict had raped and murdered his 8 year old step daughter . The look in that little girls grandparents face will haunt me forever. He DOES not deserve to take another breathe. But due to bleeding hearts on the jury he will live out his golden years on my taxes.

This serial killer has been on death row for over 25 years here in Florida... I know the uncle of one of the victims. I saw this chump in his jail cell in '87. He still thought he was 'the man'. No remorse for what he had done. Walls willingly confessed to the 5 murders. Sorry folks but this man made his choice - he killed 5 people for fun. Now, if Walls wants to ask Jesus for forgiveness before he dies, that's also his choice just like the rest of us. But Frank Walls should be executed for murdering 5 people... Period. Floridians have bought this chump enough food... time to fire up 'Old Sparky'

I don't think anything can be worse than being thrown in prison for something you didn't do and then getting fried for it.

The 4% of people who are innocent that are in death row are the reason you can appeal. But fuck them right?

And yet "An eye for an eye" is in His book. You cant be serious about that comment, the guy confessed and brags about murdering these people and yet you think he "deserves" compassion from others? I will never understand this mind set......EVER.

Personally I think one of the most brutal ways to punish someone is to rehabilitate them and let them feel the guilt of what they have done until they rot away. They end up suffering for a long ass time compared to a minute or two.

Totally serious.... Jesus talked compassion, and something about he without sin cast the first stone, and we know no one is without sin.

    I remember singing.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
that was the law of the land
    But there's a new law
    God has sent his son.

Exactly, compassionate retribution. Although I agree with the vegans and all the "do gooders" the current way is inhumane, a bullet dispatches much more "humanely". No pain or suffering, light switch thrown. So does a rope and a tree.

I am done in here, this thread will get me in trouble. Have fun with it.

Matthew goes on awhile, saying eye for an eye is not the way. You really want to stick with Matthew?

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

As I stated before, its been a while. If your much more into the bible, have at it. It was more of a quick internet retaliation to get my personal view across. Regardless of what the bible says, I have my own views, and killing a motherfucker for killing others is definitely in my realm of OK and acceptable.

I was questioning TheGrayRiders views, you got your view across with eye for an eye pages ago. Seemed like you legitimately wanted to talk bible, my bad.

Yes yes, the bible says don't kill anyone. Oh wait, that is unless they don't listen to priests, practice sorcery, are homosexual, a fortuneteller, hit their mother or father, curse their mother or father, commit adultery, commit fornication, follow another religion, are a nonbeliever in your religion, false prophets, are a woman and not a virgin on your wedding night, blasphemy, approaching the tabernacle while not being a levite, and working on sunday.

My personal favorite is killing an entire town, burning it to the ground, and never building anything there, ever. And what could possibly justify a response of this magnitude? The town allowing ONE person to worship another god instead of killing him themselves.

So yeah, the bible isn't really against murder, it just needs to right reason. At least killing a murderer sounds more justifiable to me than the reasons the bible lists.

You really have to go to the old testament? You pretty much just threw all Christians into a category. I don't hate anyone I don't care what you do as long as you don't force your beliefs on me and in return I won't force mine on you.

The bible isn't my reason for being against the death penalty. I'm asking someone that mentions the 10 commandments in his signature why he's for it.

Maybe I'm going too fast OZ?
