    Well I havent been on tw for too long but it seems that I have ran out of mods that intrigue me. Has anyone done any type of unusual mods to their taco that you wont see on here? I am interested in mods and the fact that I have ran out of ideas for future mods makes me :(

    Currently I am working on a satoshi grill and then when that is done I plan on blacking out my headlights, what else can I do to the look of my truck that is diy and cheap?

    hm. you could paint the rims...black out the badges or take them off...or you could start saving money and buy some of the cooler stuff :)

    well so far I have half done the satoshi, I just have to take it to the body shop to have it painted to match the truck, I am having my 5100's all around installed on thursday as well as an extra leaf in the back, I plan on blacking out my head lights and I plan on blacking out the strip along the bottom of the bumper. I have also done the blue guages. I am interested in doing more, its almost addicting :)

    oh ya I forgot to mention I plan on half-debadging, I want to leave the tacoma on the tailgate with a chrome trd emblem on the opposite side of the tailgate, and I plan on saving money for new rims and tires

    For a bang-for-the-buck upgrade, go with the URD short-shift kit. Makes the 6-speed a pleasure to drive.

    o ya forgot to mention that is something I plan on getting aswell, its just not going to be cheap cause I live in canada, but i put a short shift kit on my old golf and it made a world of difference. I hate how sloppy my truck shifts

    lol jackstand mod? and bedlights might be an interesting journey. I really wish someone would create a tutorial on making an access cab sub box, I know people have shown how they made it but they didnt really show enough to make it simple like the satoshi guides

    I have seen these do you know how much they go for? it would really clear up a lot of room in the back seats for me. doesnt look like it would be fun trying to run the wires through the doors either

    They're in the $400-$500 range and require a lot of time and Dremel skills to install. They require hacking up the interior panel and cutting the metal on the door to fit the box. Also requires a lot of wiring but that's the easy part.

    For what it's worth, they do sound really good. The key is to insulate everything on the door panel. That plastic will rattle like crazy if allowed to.
