Obviously this isnt working out and your just causing yourself more drama by talking with her.

Tell her lets take a break and date other people and in a year or two if you still want to get back together then so be it.

 

Honestly I think you'll find yourself much happier with someone else Corey, from the things I've read over time. This part is the hardest but you can get through it.

Don't. I went through the same stuff before. I thought it was my fault and then you start to feel bad for yourself. As time went by it got better because I knew it wasn't me. "hurt people try to hurt people". She's hurting so she's trying to pull you down with her.

If she's trying to contact you to tell you things like that to try and make you feel bad then you need to cut contact right now. And you need to tell her that. You can say she can talk to you, if you want but usually it's better not to, of she wants to talk nicely, but if she's going to try and be nasty at you then no contact.

she doesnt. I fucked up over a year ago (didnt cheat just didnt tell her the full truth about something) and she hasnt let it go since when I've been good. I went out yesterday around 11:30 and was gonna go back at 7 but she texted me at 6 saying not to come back just get my key and leave.

So I stayed out until 12 and came back and got my key and left. She texted me saying she didnt know we were breaking up and she only meant for the night.. She just confuses me so much.

Idk she has just been there for me through everything.. When I didnt get into ROTC, when I found out my heart got worse, when I thought I was going to have to have surgery. I mean I've been with her for so long and I really care about her and love her but we dont have a healthy relationship right now.. It just makes me wonder why.. We could be such a good couple but we just have small kinks that make it not work

It's not easy getting out of a long relationship isn't easy. My last big one was about 3 years. You just need to take a break for a while and step back from things. Right now you can only think emotionally and not logically. Everyone goes through that.
