I have Reno Vulc do all my tire shit for me because they kinda give me a bro deal (friend of a friend sort of thing). That was until I went with 315s and they couldn't get the alignment within the specs I wanted basically because they were worried it would make the tires wear worse. So they were looking out for me to some extent but the alignment sucked because of it. I took it to 4-wheel parts knowing that I would possibly have the shittiest experience ever and told the dude at the counter that I wanted an alignment with certain specs. He told me to hold on, walked in the back and came out with another dude and said "tell this guy, he's going to do your alignment" so I told the tech what I wanted, he nodded his head and said no problem. An hour later I had my spec sheet to my liking, a wallet $91 lighter, and a better riding tacoma.

I know a lot of people talk shit about 4 wheel parts but in this instance they did a great job.

I've had both 4WP and Reno Vulc do alignments for me. Overall I was more happy with 4WP last time I had one done. On my tacoma I told them the specs I wanted and they did it bang on. Did the same thing at reno vulc a few months later with Brittony's 4runner after doing the lift and the guy there gave me all kinds of shit saying that its going to drive terrible and wear tires blah blah blah and there would be no warranty on the alignment. I told him I dont care, just do it to the specs I want. He got it close, and overall I was happy with the alignment. Just not happy with the tech giving me a lecture on how I wanted my ride to be aligned.
Only catch to 4wp is that they're pretty expensive. IIRC it was about $70 at vulc and $95 at 4wp

ok, thanks. I was just gonna tell them to align it, but should I give them specs? and for what? I know nothing about alignments haha. I am going to have the Icon ext travel COs and UCAs, but keeping my wheels/tires for now, so probably going to run just an inch higher than stock height (to get make it level)

tell them to stuff the tires as far forward as possible while getting the camber and toe in spec. That will give you a bit of extra caster which will give better tracking and return to center of the steering/less freeway wandering. At least that's what I like to do with all the trucks I lift and get aligned.
BTW- I'm supposed to have that skid back from forming tomorrow. They've got in excess of 2 dozen bumpers, a few other skids, a few tailgate reinforcements and other parts that we've been waiting on. :turtleride:
