Yeah I plan on the dog having a pack for my hikes and fishing trips. I plan on getting the pup pulling weight with me over time. I regularly work in tire pulls for a workout and would love to get the dog along side me for it.

haha. It was worth a try. She is way to nice of a dog to be taken serious. The harness is so freaking nice. Metal clamps. Super high quality materials. Got it from the link provided awhile back.

heres my best friend and travel partner, Flex. His dad is a pure-bred german shepherd and his mom is a mix (1/2 pit, 1/4 boxer, 1/4 black lab). He's been with me since day one and is the best dog anyone could hope for. he turns 4 on june 5th. here are a couple pics I have from the past 2 years we spend together in Peru.

first pic is at the Salkantay pass at 4600m (Cusco)
second pic is around the floating islands at lake Titicaca (Puno)
third is at the end of our descent from El Misti Volcano (Arequipa)
fourth is him on his birthday last year (Cocachacra)
fifth is just him being a thirsty panther at a water fountain in the city (Lima)

Can anybody recommend a padded harness? Going to start biking & skateboarding with my dog so a collar isn't going to cut it. Thinking of getting a Ruffwear since it's highly adjustable, probably their Web Master

He's a little smaller than a Mal (~24" girth) so none of the "working k9" padded harnesses would fit him.
