I thought the same thing when I originally plasti-dipped mine. I ended up pulling it off and painted it to match my paint. AutoZone had some color match duplicolor that seems to work pretty well.

No such a fan of chrome and didn't like the idea of a black one. Painted mine body color. Subtle, but much nicer than chrome. IMO.

A little pre-emotive mouse nest prevention. I had a nest on top of the cabin air filter in my 06 Taco whereon several mice died and created a life altering stench in the cab. My '14 gets some protection. This is a view of the cabin air intake located under the cowl on the passenger side windshield area.

Clip on the outer boot on my CV slipped off... so it sprayed grease all over :(

Took some de-greaser to it and re-sealed the boot with a hose clamp :D All better and don't have to replace/rebuild the CV... yet.

I already have matching all in one duplicolor I bought to paint TRD on my skid plate. I've wanted to do something with mine but didn't want it black, devil horns, etc so I might try this. Any special prep or instructions? How many coats did you use? How did it come out as far as looks and brushmarks? Thanks for any help, haven't used pen yet as my skidplate ships in a couple of days. Thanks, mike

Mounted my maxtrax. Used some sawed off carriage bolts and 1" blocks for inside the rail channel, a washer and locking nut to secure it to the rail and a washer/wing nut to attach the boards to the posts.

New Pro Comps put on, went with black lug nuts instead of the chrome with my wheels, more excited about the black lug nuts than the tires. What's wrong with me?? Universal joints tomorrow, spark plugs replaced sometime this week and a part in the steering, my mechanic now works at Toyota but still runs his own shop so lucky me on his pricing!!
