I've been drifting forr around three years now (I drift a 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86). Anyways, I blew up the motor in the 86 last year & am currently doing a motor swap on that, just got it running actually but needs to be broken in. A drift event came up & I just can't not drift so I took out the Tacoma. (2006 base 5speed 5lug 2wd, open differentials, stock as the day it left the floor minus the wheels I bought for the drift event).

    Here's what happened:

My clip is about half way through.

As cool as that looks, I just can't imagine putting my own vehicle through something like that.

I'll stick to playing in the snow and ice during the winter :p

Always nice to see a truck representing in what such a car-dominated event, though!

We have good friends who drift professionally. Dumb sport and shouldn't be considered racing.

But it is fun to watch all the kids at the track ruin their cars trying to learn how to control a drift.

You know, I struggled with beating the piss out of my truck too, but then I remembered it was a Toyota & it's tough as nails.

This. Dumb on my part, but isn't done when drifting at speed.

It kinda turned into a burnout event towards the end as tires were wearing thin, & there are alot of beginners at LaCrosse speedway as well.

This teaser shows some better driving & features many locals. I'm the guy with the silver corolla coupe: LAXSTREETS.COM 2013 Video Teaser "FIVE": http://youtu.be/x6N_QGXMF6U

& thanks for all the props guys I didn't think I'd get so much love!
