Holy crap bro. I'm really fucking bummed for you right now - it goes without saying 'if there's anything I can do or help' but that won't go far towards getting your truck back. Seriously speechless :(

I'm going to be sending my best wishes it can be recovered quickly bud.

Got my Tacoma broken into this weekend. They took my Nexus tablet and unfortunately an S&W 9c. For some reason they left a shoulder holster and a backpack full of plinking ammo. Cops were at my house Friday evening dusting for prints and taking a report. I am a freaking idiot - I did not double check to see my door was locked. Sometimes my daughter gets my keys and it can happen.

This seems very insignificant compared with what Tallon is going through :(

Tallon, if you find out who took your truck, let me know if you need help dealing with them. I can be there to pull a trigger or 2, help out with some varying torture techniques, disposing of the body, or even being an alibi that we were anywhere else.

Will, same deal for you as I offered Tallon. Vigilantly justice can be far more effective than the law

No. I was more sick to my stomach I let this happen. The pistol was in a Console Vault which I could have sworn was locked. The combo WAS my house number though which would not take an Einstein to figure out. I just lapsed and didn't remove it when I got out of the truck.

Cops couldn't have been nicer. I filed a report at the non-emergency number. They got my info and said 'thanks'. Only 10 minutes late an officer came by to get my information. He was cool, obviously saw my concern and reassured me that I was not the criminal here. Took my Exomount to the lab for prints. Brushed my car a bit but did not find any prints to lift.

Getting bids to have someone help me install the home surveillance system. I have a shit ton of wiring to pull so I'm just going to get some help and get it done. Wife also has a friend that worked at Car Toys. He's going to help me install an alarm. Going through reviews right now deciding which to get.

On a side note, let me know if one of you does home wiring for a living and I can hire you to help pull wiring. It's all LV wiring, not 120/240. Oh - Spokane is probably too long of a commute for this job, Zach. :D

    Thanks bud

I'm certainly hoping for a Brady-type of ending in which the firearm is recovered. I am pretty certain I won't be able to find my stuff in a neighbor's garage though...

I don't do home wiring, but aircraft. A little tighter of space. I may be able to assist.

And my gun wasn't at the neighbors. It was found with a convicted felon... Still waiting on fed way to get it back to me.

    :annoyed:

What fuck is with shitty people this week!

That sucks Will, the worst part is not only is your gun gone, but now the same lowlife piece of shit who is stupid and cowardly enough to break into a vehicle is now armed with a deadly weapon...I seriously hope it can be recovered.

I still flaon a positive note - Dora Cousteau II is back at home now. Safe and sound. Everything appears to be working great - mechanically and electronically. There is one sound that developed on the way home, but I am 90% certain is a dirty/rusty bearing in my A/C pulley.

Awesome news about Dora II Ben! That must be a great feeling to turn the key for the first time.

Whoops :p my memory does suck.

I thought you already had it returned to you. I wonder if the court proceedings with the convicted felon have to end before you get it back. Bummer.

Glad you got the truck home finally! It's been way too long since you drove it. What noises were you hearing? Might have been your rear brakes or your diffs? You probably need to re-lube every moving part you can...

BTW, I have a nice little sound from that side we changed out. I haven't had time to take the tire off and look... do you think we bent something? It's a very light metal on metal sound.

It is definitely from one of the pulleys. Gonna check it out today and try to pinpoint it.

Check your dust cover. That thing bends easily and could be making contact with the rotor or something.
