storM- GREAT photo. Was a bit over saturated for me though. The over cooked sky is what kill it for me. Greens are getting to that point but not quite there. Still an amazing photo, look fantastic there.

Brian007Taco- AZ guys brought their A game! haha i love the feel of this shot, the effect you have going is really cool and i love the sun and clouds but the awesome landscape is still view able. I can see the last stitch on the right though pretty prominently. Very good photo!

camptaco01- Another great shot! I wish the horizon was straight on this one though which i know is hard to make happen with stitching. I have no major issues with it otherwise. Lighting on the right side is a bit washed out though, maybe if those few frames had been addressed individually to make them not so distracting it would have come together a tad more perhaps. Great shot though. I want to go there someday!

Pete- Fabulous job, seemless pano! Color and light are all uniform, very well done. I was just wanting a bit more subject wise i suppose. I didn't not like this shot, but i didn't love it if that makes sense?? Still, great execution!

Ben- Great shot! love the big green feilds and mountains in the back. Seamless as well, i really like the colors in this shot. Was in my top choices for sure.

Marc- Love this photo! colors and subject is great. however, idk if it was the HDR or what..but something is off for me, seems a lot of odd grays going on. And sadly, the stitches rear their ugly head in the sky pretty bad. Still, kept coming back to this one for the top picks..

Josh- Good first attempt! i know the phones can actually do a pretty good job at these and this isn't bad. Im guessing your iphone's lens is a tad strached up or dirty as it seems the whole photo is a big "foggy" so to speak. Hope you keep at it man! have a DSLR before long :p haha

krap22- Great shot! very impressed with the phone shot. Only thing i wish you had done is get up and move! haha so the 50 yard line was centered. very nice shot though man!

Doug-Im glad a few tried the verticals! Cool subject, i think HDR would have been sweet for this photo, i know you were using your phone and i can't wait to see what you do with the 5dmkII.

EFalco50-Cool photo! I kinda want the signs to be more centered in it though. Very impressive perspective though i really liked it.

Kevin-Bringing your A game lately man, this is freaking awesome. Love the sunset, the road is perfectly placed and im not sure whats on the right, but damn. love it man. yea the telephone line is a bit off, but, its not horrible. I think it could be easily fixed.

TJ- I know this was very frustrating for you this week, and i applaud your effort sir! great photo, you seem to have a good eye for panos. I know all about how crappy the Canon photo stitch works, its horrible. So i REALLY hope you keep pursuing some of the other programs and keep playing with it.

Cold Iron- yay another vertical! I really liked this shot! the twin suns in the glass and the two brother statues on the steps were cool. I REALLY wanted it to be straight though. It didn't seem like you were going for a leaning look anyways, so i kinda wish the building was straight. I also think a small crop off the bottom would be cool. Still, this photo is sweet.

Murph- Really like this photo, i can tell the campus is cool and the lighting of the sky is very nice. I kinda want the focus to be in a different area however, more on the buildings to the left perhaps. I know you said there was a garage there or something so you may have made the right call. I was just wanting something a tad more i suppose. Really like the crispness though.

slow03z-Bummer man! you should look at Hugin or Ice to try and get the photos from your 60D to work right. I am still very impressed with this iphone photo. I like how the road is centered more or less and just disappears. Gotta be some cool photo ops up there! Hope to see some more from you!

Reh5108- Dang man! so close! the idea and perspective on this is fantastic! sad it didn't totally work out for you. Very cool idea and hope you keep submitting!

Jeremy-Well, you already know what im going to say haha crop out all the useless stuff! haha very nice photo though, love the green!

For reals! This is the only one I took. Just overlooks vedauwoo and i80. I could have hiked in but it would have been dark by time I got there.

Congrats, Kevin, sweet. Looks like one of the county roads west of David pointed at the Coast Range/Berryessa area.

X3, Great job Kevin, as always!

Agree, I spent way too much time last night trying to make it straight but no matter what I did couldn't get there from here. After my first cup of coffee this morning it hit me that it was exactly the same as perspective in drafting. Do did some research before work and if it helps anyone else it is called keystoning and happens with all verticals, even a single shot, if you take it from a low or high position. Of course CS has built in tools and there are other tools on the market and free that can correct it. I didn't even bother to download the plugin for Gimp, just used the perspective tool in Gimp to correct the vertical tilt. Had a tiny bit of perspective distortion on the bottom but not much, turned out very well. Another lesson learned from these drills. After the fact LOL, but it is still learned and that is the bottom line to me.

:woot: Awesome, thanks everyone! Yeah I drove out like 30 minutes east and north over by Esparto. Ended up leaving about 32 minutes before sunset so I was racing to get there in time! The field to the north is a new vineyard, I'm pretty sure, or at least a new orchard. All the white posts make it super trippy to drive past at any sort of speed. Makes you dizzy a little, it looks like the ground is rippling! I had some work in a field off that road and figured it would make a cool pano. Then the road was absolutely deserted so I could stand in the middle to take the shot. That definitely made the shot for me!
    Alright, pm'ing Monte...

New challenge time! and its a good one. Most specific one yet.

Subject needs to be something Modern, New. Buildings, cars, phones...whatever. BUT, needs to shot and made to look like an old vintage photo! AND...NO B&W!!!! Has to be color.

    Ready set...GO!
