Just found out they're called "clip liners" and are part of the leaf pack.

Thanks for the heads up. Just kind of sucks to have brand new leafs with damage of any kind. At least let me do it :)

I'll still ask Kurt about it.

    Yeah, it's hilarious.

Someone tried calling me the Sultan of Spray Can and I didn't go for it.

    Thanks for the moniker

ETA when lift will be installed? Got the same lift except I got 883s, but haven't decided if I want to install the extra leaf right away or not. Just wanna see what kinda rake you have haha

Nice build btw! Plan on going up in tire size?

I'm going to have Jace install it so it's wholly dependent upon his schedule.

I'm pretty sure I'm just going to install the AAL right of the bat. It'll be easier that way and every one I've spoke to about it says that it's a good idea with running the topper 99% of the time.

Once I have some pics I'll obviously post them up here with initial post-lift and break in measurements.

I'm almost 100% positive I'm going to stay with 31x10.5s. I have my eye on Goodyear Adventure All Terrains. I've been running BFG ATs since 1994, I think it's time I switch it up to see what else is out there.

I agree, I say we through the leaf pack all together right off the bat.let it all settle together.

I am praying your Lucas aren't siezed..... you could start spraying leaf springs bolts, shackles, shock bolts, clover bolts and la eccentrics maybe once a week. couldn't hurt?

lol, just hit all the suspensions components. You know what you bought, so its not too hard t figure out how it mounts. spray those mounting bolts. gotta get familiar either your truck sooner or later since you are modifing it.

Can I wear Toyota coveralls and sneak into the shop to help out?

Yeah I've been lurking under there, have a good idea on what I need to hit up.

Oh I know, I fully get it... liability is huge.

For a job like this obviously I want you to have all the tools you need to do it right and, most importantly, get paid.

Oh speaking of not playing nicely... I think I have to drill out the hole on the AAL so the center pin can get through.

The new centering pin is holding the leaf pack together. But I can try to push the AAL onto the threaded part sticking out of the pack and it seems like I just have to drill it out ever so slightly.
