    OK, I got my Mt. Shasta and finally set it up in the backyard. I love it. One question though and I'm sure it's been answered previously. There are ropes hanging down on the inside corners of the overhang, what are they for?

    I believe those are the tie downs that you use to make sure the walls of the overhang aren't flapping in the wind. You should have a couple of tent stakes too.

    I got my mt.Shasta a week or so ago.
    Made a custom bed rack to match the annex height. Then we (me, wife, & dogs) headed to the beach! Just spent the fourth night in our RTT and looking forward to 3 more. Very happy with this purchase.
