OEM 2014 Tacoma Navigation Radio

I must admit, this was so worth the time/money/effort! I have requsted, ordered and installed the head unit and i couldn't be happier. Here is the timeline if any one is interested.

19 APR 2014: I posted, "I want one"

20 APR 2014: I was Sub'd to the post

24 APR 2014: I was asked for my PayPal e-mail address so an invoice can be produced

28 APR 2014: Invoice was sent to my e-mail address. Same day I paid through PayPal.

01 MAY 2014: New headunit was recieved and I installed it in less than an hour.

So there you have it, from start to finish the process took me 13 days. I would send before and after pics, but that would be a waste of time since they look exactly the same (I replaced a 2014 Audio Plus non nav). Also, I would post pics for the install, but that has been done so well on this very post. FL Trucks is an awesome seller, it was smooth and the transaction was painless. I highly reccomend. That being said I now have my replaced head unit for sale now. That is all.

 

Yeah I posted on here in the 19th as well and didn't hear anything and then posted again on the 20th and sent a PM to him and also got the same PM back from him on the 24th that you got as well but I haven't heard anything since and I am still waiting. I made sure I had the funds available as well in my PayPal which I still do so I am holding off for as long as I can unless something better comes up and I cant wait any longer.

 

I paid and everything went through but never heard back from him. Was this the same thing you went through as well? He seems to be very trusted by everyone so I'm not too worried, just wondering if that's just the way it works on TW. Still haven't received my unit but I hope it comes in soon.

 

I am going to assume that he probably has a list of who is getting one and probably sending them out as they come in. He hasn't sent me the invoice through PayPal yet so I am going to assume that he doesn't have one for me yet it would be nice to hear back from him or if he updated on here to let those waiting to know what is going on.

 

Yea I got my invoice and paid already so I guess I should excpect it in the mail soon. Anyone know who he ships through?

 

Thats exactly what he is doing. He use to update the list from Page 1. Not sure if he still does. But he sells them as he gets them. be patient this isnt something that stores just stock on the shelf.

Have you checked your paypal account for the invoice. I was waiting for an email notification and after a few days when it did not arrive I logged into paypal and there is was. Unit arrived 3 days after, super easy to instal.

 

Just logged onto PayPal to check and it isn't there so he hasn't sent it yet. I got all excited for a minute thinking maybe I just didn't get an email saying it was there.

 

He uses USPO priority mail

He sent me the invoice this morning so as soon as get home in three hours I can pay it so I will probably have before weeks end I'm thinking. I am pretty excited.

How long after contacting him, were you guys able to purchase one of these?

 

It varies but if you look at post #512 which I wrote it has the info there.

 

I am still waiting I pm him 05/02/2014 but nothing yet.

Paid on Monday but haven't heard anything and it didn't show up with the mail today so not sure what's going on. either it didn't ship out by Tuesday or it didn't get shipped 2 day priority like others are were saying.

 

I hope these are still available or will be available. PM sent. Now just a wait and see game. Crossing fingers.
