Yes, I wired up some the other day with an "ortattw" single pole/double throw switch(spdt) so they come on automatically with reverse lights or I can put on if key is on accessory

Just updated OP, I like them a lot! Wasn't too bad of a job, but took like 6 hours-ish. They're very bright

I think I'm gonna have to give this a go! Did it just take you so long because of the wiring cause it seems like the would be a pain running wires so far

Yeah I guess, I ran them along other wires already there then went into cab and through a rubber gasket to the engine bay. Still need to clean up a little bit. It seems it takes me a long time to do any wiring I guess, but I don't rush and each project is the first time I've done that with no guidance really so yerre

Yeah I take a lot of time with anything that deals with wiring. Wiring itself isn't my biggest strong point so I just go however fast I need to. Did the wires run somewhat along the top or side of the frame?

This may not be the case with 2nd gens but in mine there is actually a rubber grommet that comes into the cab under the rear seats that you may be able to use to possible simplify the wiring

The wires were more near the top of frame.

And yeah, I ran the wire through a rubber grommet found under my driverside seat, under the plastic on door sill part, then through another grommet from cab to engine bay
