I'm guessing water in the tube/line to the regulator, or a bad regulator.

I installed a new regulator, that didn't fix it. Does the same thing with a new burner as well

I got the grill for free so I was trying to get it to work better. Other that issue it works great.

Take them out and apart, clean/grease them.

That noise makes me think you may have an obstruction in the LH burner tube. Remove and inspect. If one or more of the holes are clogged, carefully, clean it out with a pin or something equally small.

You've got orange flames at the 3rd tube. Orange means you're not getting a full combustion.

Check the tubes (by taking them out) and the nozzles for spider webs and/or insect nests before you go screwing around with the burner valves.

My grill was doing similar. I disconnected the line where the regulator connects and blew it out with the water hose. After that lite her up and get to grilling.

    +1

Spend the extra money on a Weber and be happy that you have a grill that will function 1000 times better than anything else out there and last at least as long.

I've had two gas grills the last 15 years. I have noticed the ones at lowes etc... are either throw aways in a year or so or more expensive than a new range for the kitchen
