A buddy of mine started running the tubliss system front and rear on his yz and is really happy with it. He's been running them without issue for a couple years now. Riding it before and after, the lessened rotating mass is fairly noticeable. We all run ultra heavy tubes and seeing how good this system seems to be holding up to riding twice a week has me thinking....

Good to know! I like that you can adjust air pressure in the Tubliss system unlike the Bibs.

Do you guys replace your crankcase seals alot? I just picked up an old bike with a running but old motor and dont want any vacuum leaks in the block. Can I just check for them with propane?

Any body really like oil injection systems, I hear they lean out the oil at idle so it doesnt foul plugs and richens it alot at high rpm. Or should I just run premix and carry spare plugs?

Yeah, I was scared off of bibs from day one when the installation instructions said to remove them after every ride/ race. I'd rather risk a flat than do that.

Might be picking up a '14 350 XC-F in a few weeks, if I do I'm probably going to get a set of the Tubliss for it. If not, going to stick with the trusty '08 250SX for this season and may try the Tubliss. Decisions decisions.

 uber jelly. I'd probably go KTM if the parts where more readily available here. I'd have to drive 2 hours either way for the nearest dealer. Been kicking around a new YZ for a few weeks now. More recently I've started considering a 4t for the fuel injection.

I've kind of always bled orange. The new YZ's are sweet, I run with a few of them, the GF is a YZ girl also. I've just always felt more at home on a KTM 2T or 4T. We have a plethora of dealers pretty close and quite a bit of race support on the weekends so we're lucky on that front. GDR does some testing and development for KTM directly and supports most of the GNCC top guys and they are about a 20 minute drive from me. It's pretty cool to see my bike being worked on beside Kailub Russell or Mike Laffertey's bikes.

Yeah they seem to have a bike for everyone lol I've ridden my friends 99 250SX and it does awesome on the trails. Lot less work than my CR. That is sweet though haha im surprised no one in my town has picked up KTM yet with all the mountain riding around here. Kawi's seem to be the fan favorite in these parts.

We all have dedicated trail bikes. I toyed with the idea of tagging my 250, but the benefits were outweighed pretty quickly when I started to think about it. More weight, more stuff to break and having to run DOT tires just doesn't appeal to me.

Disappointing. You could come ride out dual sport if you were legal. Then again, we don't check bikes sooooo....

You could do it in some states. I know here in PA that would be a pain in the ass. I'd love to ride a 2stroke motard though

That'd be a pain in the ass to run a harescramble or GNCC motard style.

It's not that bad in NC. I see them around every now and then.

Matter of swapping wheels, or could throw some of these on instead......

Don't forget brakes too. Air shock springer front is sweet. Any more info on that bike?

Other then an oversized front what would you need to do to the brakes?

Kraus motorsports built the bike, FOES Curnutt shock front and rear. They are a downhill bike manufacturer out of Colorado if memory serves. Anyways, Kraus is out of cali, build art, no kidding legit fucking art that works like it is supposed to. They are online.

Just thinking if you were running oversized rotors for super moto you'd have to swap out the caliper mounts as well. 260 mm doesn't seem like it would cut it.
