You're reading the wrong forums where dick size is directly related to what caliber you carry/shoot. Overall 9mm has softer recoil for better groups in a panic situation & you'll get more capacity. Not to mention ammo is generally easier to find & quite a bit less expensive. Those are all pretty much universal. Now, to the XDs specifically, the trigger on the 9mm version is substantially better than the trigger on the .45acp unless they've recently made changes. In short, don't buy a firearm based in what you read on a forum. Especially a truck forum. lol ;)

Do your own research & buy what's best for YOU instead of what's best for someone else.

I should also add that I don't spend much time on well-known internet gun forums because most members are internet commandos who don't know the first fucking thing about firearms or shooting but will ridicule someone else for their decisions. Fuck 'em.

You simmer down!! I was just curious why all the xd forums (not the truck forums)are saying don't buy the 9mm. That's the one I've wanted. It's just funny reading all the posts about it.

Oh I know. That's why I asked you. I tried asking the guy at neeves uniforms while I was in there and he didn't have any intelligent input for me. Just that the .45 is a larger caliber than the 9mm. I walked away saying thanks for the help. :D

Thanks for the greetings everyone! Figured I'd finally chime up and post instead of just lurking day in and day out.

I'd think the Switzerland trail out of Boulder would be a good entry level track for a truck, though I've only ever gone through it on my moto.

I have no opinion either way, My theory is you can't have too many different calibers.
