Yes sir, all tacomas have OBD 2 connections instead of the older OBD 1 so you are good to go.

2 days into the gb, made some good progress. for those of you who missed the post, we did hit 50 and orders will start shipping wednesday. GB is still open until Sunday so keep orders flowing in!!

 

i wanna order one but im a little confused about which model to get. i could just get the EM plus as i dont think $7 is that big of a difference from the v1.2, but is it worth the extra money or should i just get the basic one? anyone have the EM plus that could throw in their opinion?

 

Methinks the EM plus is a beta version, and that it just came out. Therefore, I'm doubtful that anyone has their hands on it, just yet.

It does appear to have some interesting features in relation to emissions data and whatnot, but I'm not sure that the average user would find it useful.

Of course I can only offer wild conjecture and a few shot-in-the-dark guesses...

 

without thinking of additional features, my first thought is : spend 7 to save 22 ideally giving you a larger return of payment if for some reason you had to sell it one day.

now i am not saying this is how you should base your entire decision, but it is a factor.
