I'm sorry to be a pain, but the Nissan just looks so damn ugly, and performance wise, the Toyota can beat it, at least on paper. I know I'm knew to this, so forgive me if I'm wrong.

linkfeeney, when you say it went up $2000, what was it before? I know that the package retails for a little under $4k.

the crew cab with 4x4 base now is over $26000
adding the trd off-rd is over $4000

last yr i priced the base was around $25000
and the trd-off rd was around $3000

toyota is turning into a ripped-off vehicle, expecially the door handles, its so cheap!

Still way cheaper than Canadian Prices after conversion. A TRD Sport sells for $39,995 Canadian.

Have you test drove a Frontier yet? Felt way too cramped to me and the interior seemed to be cheaper. True it does have more HP not that you can tell by driving it. The gearing in the Tacoma is much better in my opinion and rides much better. There has always been a reason why you pay a little more for a Toyota.

Last I checked, which wasn't long ago seeing that I just got my 07 Offroad three weeks ago, the price for the Offroad pkg was 3755 I believe.

I test drove the Frontier but in normal driving situations, you can't really use all of the 261hp. Unless, of course, you drive at 4000-5000 rpm all the time. It's a heavier truck than the Taco. I do like that they came up with an 07 that competes against my double cab, longbed. Now I can compare the 2 better.

Wow, that seems pretty good! Connecticut is so expensive (for everything, not just vehicles). :(
