If you plan to be in contact with a Grizzly you probably wouldn't want either one. Keep in mind that 9mm and .45acp just poke holes. One pokes an every-so-slightly larger hole than the other. With advancements in ammo technology lately the playing field has been leveled dramatically. As with any handgun caliber it's all about placement and 9mm will give you a few more attempts at that perfect placement if you need them in the same size frame.

If you encounter a bear with a hand gun it's more of a fire off enough to scare it or get away.

Hey everyone! I figured this would be a better place to post than start a new one. I am about to pick up and move from Vermont to Colorado. New job, me and my friend are heading out this Sunday, taking my tacoma and just pulling a uhaul trailer. Hope to be involved more out there than I was here, but also start a real build. We both just got jobs in Boulder. Visited for a ski trip a few months back and decided it was the place.

Are you going to be living in the republic of boulder or are you just going to be working there?

 

The apartment is in downtown Boulder for the time being. Figured it'd be nice to have a bit of a bar scene for a bit. I'm somewhere between the college and pearl st. Work is also in Boulder. I would like to get further out as time goes on.

There's a lot of fun places down there. Scenery is quite nice, too.

 

I am looking forward to seeing some nice views. Colorado feels similar to VT, just grander. --More grand?
