I like the whole putting the mounts on the side of the seat but i have seat cover that cover the whole seat. I just want your ideas of where to mount it. I did a search and only found where someone mounted it on their door. Thats not my cup of tea. So where should i put it??

You could always store it somewhere in the truck and have a mini mounted in the center console for easy access.

That's clean as hell. I love that. Where did you get your mount? The only ones I have found are around $30 or $40?! Too much IMO

    thanks!:)

actually....i got the whole setup(mounts/batteries/mag-lite and mini mag-lite) at sams a couple of years back. you can get some quick fists from a hardware store for a about $5 or $6, and they are just as good if not better.

I put mine inside my console facing lens up and I ran the wires to the dash so it charges when the ignition is on and doesnt when it off... Its fits perfect in there and its really handy! Its a Streamlight...

    Streamlights rock. :headbang:

I put an XL-20XP on the DC B pillar, similar to that one shown above. It's always charged (use it every day). GREAT light, much better than mags, but not as usable as a weapon...

I always keep my D cell maglite in my room next to my pistol; but now that I've moved into an apartment I don't feel the need so much (for the light ;)).

I guess I'll have to go mount it in my truck where it would be much more useful. Quickfists sound like a plan. I have an access cab though, so I'll have to analyze placement. I don't want it to be obtrusive.

I thought about mounting it somewhere, but I'd rather not have the flashlight flying through the passenger compartment in a bad accident.

I find that it fits in the storage under the rear (access cab) seats very nicely.
