Speaking of Moab. Who all is going? Is there a Colorado caravan? I need to put in for the time off and I'm trying to figure out what days I need to take

We are leaving from the Springs on the 28th, not sure what time yet but it will be early. And we'll be slow since we're towing.

I think I'm going to be leaving the 28th from the springs as well. How fast do you think you might go? Like 65 or more? Hell I don't even know how long it takes to get there.

Shit map quest says it's only 6 1/2 hours to get there from the springs. I had no idea it was that close.

We took the route that doesn't take you through Denver but through Breckenridge. If I recall that way has a more gradual climb with the hills rather than doing the massive climb up to the Eisenhower Tunnel. There are some massive S turns in that route which we go like 10 mph up  Once we hit the flatter stuff we can maintain a more normal speed.

You know the dates to avoid.. But if you come out during that time bring a sleeping bag/tent and camp a night or two in Fruita. You will be driving through anyway.

So what is it? Bi-monthly or weekly? Doesn't matter, either way you guys are addicted to the meat. Hot, steamy meat going right into your faces. While the rest of us keep this world turning by GOING TO WORK!

So how long do you think it will take you to get there? And about what time would you be leaving the springs, maybe we can convoy up there.
