Hey, I like writing history... and specially if I lived it! Glad you guys enjoyed it... I think I got the details pretty close!

My dad had a 1965 Jeep Wagoneer, a 1970 Jeep Wagoneer, and a 1972 Chevy Suburban 4WD. We had a street legal dune buggy, which became my first car at 16.

In 1975, I got a Jeep Cherokee Chief with Quadra Trac Full Time 4WD (early graduation present).
In 1977, I sold the Jeep (everything broke on it, even though it was new) and bought a new Subaru 4WD Wagon... drove it for 136,000 miles in 3 years! In 1980 I traded it for a 1980 model (little bigger) and in 1987 I traded up again. The Subaru showed me Japanese quality and economy and allowed me to make hundreds of trips to Baja over the years I had those three little wagons.

I also have owned a Mitsubishi pickup (2WD), a Mazda Van, and a Plymouth van... a return to an American brand and a BIG mistake! The Plymouth van went through 3 transmission rebuilds before I traded it in for my 2001 TRD Tacoma 4WD xtra cab... The rest is wonderful Toyota history now on my third 4WD Tacoma!

1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
    Yo David k

Is that a Manx in your pics?

I'm bummed out after getting my truck back from Jeff. Now I hate it and wish it was a V6 or a 4x4, shit I wish it was both. :(

haha. i drove the hoopty to the new house yesterday. no glass, no plates, no lights, no fucks given. it definitely pulls harder than your truck lol. my truck also is terrifying to drive on the streets. shakes and pulls all over the place. new spindles in the works, then the steering. im sure its all blown out.
