So I did the turn signal mod on my 04 by cutting the wires to both the parking lights and the turn signal lights and them crossing them over. Then I added a bigger size bulb to fit in the corner lights to fix the hyper blinking problem (I believe its a 1147A???) Something like that. Anyway it worked great at first but recently (after maybe about 2 months) they have been blinking at weird speeds. Sort of in the middle of hyper blinking and normal blinking, and it sometimes works normally, and then other times it does this weird blinking. Sometimes it even does it during the same "blinking session" or whatever you want to call it. I've checked the wiring and it seems fine. Yes, I've searched for it but it is not really hyper blinking like most of the problems are. This is really weird. Anyone else with this problem? Anything I should change? Please help, it's really annoying me.

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
I would look into putting resistors inline with the signal bulbs. Not to say it is the solution, but look into it as a possibility.

The ceramic block resistors are only like $5 at radio shack. I think they're 5 or 10 ohm but have to handle substantial wattage.

If your new bulbs use less wattage than the originals, it will cause a quicker blink.

Okay thanks, it's definitely worth a shot. I think the bulbs (which are now my turn signal bulbs) are slightly smaller in size than the original turn signal bulbs before the mod. I'll give it a shot this weekend.
