The joys of parenthood lol Skye has gotten out of that phase thank god. She gets up as soon as I do and if I attempt to sleep in she paws at my face and climbs allover the place if I let her sleep in the bed that night.

Shipps, Skye looks a looooot like my Dex. Same big spot behind his head on the left side, same small tickmarks in his coat. Any idea what breed? We were told Dex is a Chow/Pointer/Boxer/Hound.

The lady i got her from said the mother was a malamute but was unsure of the other dog's breed. She looks alot like a german short-haired pointer so that'd be my guess.

When I saw her I assumed she was possibly a Collie/lab. Most the mutts out here seem to have one of those 2 dogs in them. She is quite leggy though. I would have never guess malamute [IMG].

It'll be good for me. Everyone that actually knows me has been saying that they are surprised I lasted the first 2 years out of the army without a pup. Ordering some buckles and 550 cord for the pups collar right now .

Yeah i would have never guessed malamute either maybe the lady was bullshitting me lol. She did have 2 older malamute-looking pups there but i highly doubt they were purebred. She's definitey lanky though she seems to get taller everyday lol.

And very nice  i need to get her a nicer harness and a longer leash so i can get her better at sticking close-by but still having room to run. She's a little stump puller on the 6 footer i have now, always go go go lol.

The shelter we got Dex from said Chow Chow was mixed in. The only thing he resembles Chow wise is his tail since is curls up onto his back most of the time.

PS, we ordered one of those dog DNA test kits that use saliva due to curiosity....don't.

The report said the two major dog breeds that he is are Boxer and GSD....here's him as a pup

    And ~1 year
    [IMG]

Doesn't look Boxer/GSD to me at all haha.

And here you can kinda see the similar coat/coloring as Skye

she's killed many snakes before. only brown tree snakes which are everywhere on guam and aren't very venomous.
