Well the v10 has 400hp so I'm sure it will tow haha. If I got a diesel it be a 12 valve. Drove one for my last job. What a beast

The powerstroke has about 400hp, but also about 800 torque hahah. Id buy a 5.7 tundra for a gasser, but if I wanted a diesel Id go for a nice 7.3 or the new 6.7 is a badass engine

I think a lot of it also depends on how you drive and what you expect out of the truck too. I can understand the want of gas but I prefer diesel

The new 6.7 has 400hp and 800ft lb torque. 7.3s never got to 400, I don't think they ever got much more then 300, and they're torque peaked at about 550 I believe

yeah 7.3s never had over 300HP from the factory. The 6.7 only have 400hp? Pretty sure the 6.4s had more than that

But don't anybody get me wrong. I love diesel. I used to roll coal everyday I drove our 97 12 valve dually for work. I filled the truck next to me with soot once at a red light lol

International.com puts the 6.4 at 350hp and 650 lb ft torque and the latest 6.7 at 440hp and 860 lb ft torque
