So I want to fit some 20x12 -44 wheels with some 33's. I do not plan on rock crawling. I want to maintain a smooth ride. I will go off road for shooting and in the sand.
My truck is a 2014 tacoma 4x4 Double Cab.
I was wanting a 6" lift, but don't want any strain on certain parts.

So would I be able to fit 20x12-44 with a 3 inch lift. If not, would a 6 inch cause a lot of strain because I don't want to void my extended warranty. Thank you

3" toytech lift, front spacers, AAL in the rear, 285/75r16 goodyear duratrac, blacked out emblems and taillights, pained grill
I have a 3" lift on mine and the biggest tires i can fit without rubbing are 33's. 285/75/16

You'll be able to fit 33s with the 3 inch lift, but you'll probably have to do some trimming.

3 inch lifts stress the CVs since they're at an angle...6 inch lifts don't have this problem, but you have to cut through your frame to bolt in a new crossmember, which I feel would void the warranty

Dealer can't void warranty, unless they can prove that what you did to the truck caused the problem

I have a 6 inch drop bracket with king shock front and rear. Best ride ever!

I know they can't void the warranty legally but does a 6" wear out tie rod end and other components a lot quicker?
