Yeah, but it really won't be all that often. Lots of people wheel full size rigs. Hell most people who SAC and go to tons get much wider. Most tons are 72" WMS to WMS. That axle alone is almost as wide as my entire rig. I'm running 10" wide tires on 8" wide wheels with 4.5" BS, which puts my full width at 75-76".

You throw 12.50's on a 10" wheel with 4.5" BS on a 1 ton axle and you are looking at a total width of 85-86". I would be 78-79" wide with those 12.50's and a 1st gen would be 73-74" wide there.

Yeah, but my point was that the body really isn't that much bigger. They just built them to look big since the growing trend in the US has been bigger is better. Look at all the mall crawler diesels out their running 10" lifts on 40" tires on 20+" wheels.

    62.5"

So 4.5" which again really isn't much in the grand scheme of things. How many times have you guys been within 2.25" of hitting your body? And if your tires or sliders stopped you thay doesn't count because a 2nd gens tires and sliders will stick out farther than yours.

The dodge is a 8" over a 2nd gen and people wheel fullsize rigs a lot too.

Well lower your truck 2.25 and tell me how that works out for you it's a big deal not matter where it is.

But ride height is a little different. My skids are like 12" off the ground so 2" is a big deal. If there were 60" off the ground 5 less inches wouldn't be a big deal.
