Right on! I just put mine back on the truck.

BTW, next time you buy prints for your wall, try the metal ones from Bay Photo. ;)

I wrapped them myself, much cheaper, but good call.

I sold a couple metal ones back in the day, from http://www.millerslab.com/.

I don't believe the changes are worth the $400 price jump but I do believe the changes are great and should be standard on tents. I can go into it more if you wanted but everything they did just completes the overall look and feel of the tent. I had regret while waiting for it to ship but that quickly went away after using it a few times . The color is just a bonus.

Can anyone briefly give me a range of prices for just the roof top tents which are on the market? I understand there are a few different companies making them right now. I figure one of you experts would be able to help me out off the top of your head... No ladders, no accessories, just tents and their respective prices. Please and thank you.

    example:

cream of the crop tent: $1k
    similar but less: $750
    mid-range brand x: $600
    half-ass option: $400
    wet paper bag tent: $200

3K+ for an eezi awn. Stick with the chinese tents unless you are going to be living in the thing for months at a time.

You can get discounts for Tepui from BoxRocket and BAMF on TW. BAMF discount is a bit better for the locals supposedly. They have done group buys but won't discount it as much as CVT did so don't expect much more than what Adam and Jerry can get you.

Price will depend on size of the tent and features. Send me a PM with the features and size (sleeps x?) that you're interested in and I can give you recommendations and pricing on Tepui tents.

Just watched that in FB! Crazy people haha. Mine did well in 60mph wind with monsoon rain last year. Had about a foot of water in the camp site after two days of down pour.

That's one reason I don't care to camp in the valley proper. A lot of campers find their tents on the other side of nowhere when they get back to camp this time of year :D

Yeah it does not look like a great place this time of year.
