Wish I could right now. Preparing for a huge art show at the school in two weeks. I've got about a 150 more artworks to mat and frame. After the show is over I've got plans for a new one.

    That's flat out awesome.
You have a very good grasp of perspective.
A lady on a motorcycle forum I used to hang on did fantastic paintings of landscapes, and as long as she stuck to natural subjects, her paintings were very realistic.
But she had no concept of perspective when man-made items were in the image. Her worst was a vehicle... the windshield and grille might be good, the sides would be great.... but then the hood and roof looked like the car was rolled onto its side.
Same thing with cabins... they were almost 2-D... practically no convergence in the straight lines. She could not draw/paint something as simple as a basic cube.

Thanks Rich, I've always had a thing for architecture and things with lots of character. My favorite subject is old broken down houses and buildings, cars...things with real character.

Well I guess it's time to revive this thread of mine by starting a new painting. This time it will be of my truck a 2010 timberland Mica dcsb. I will be changing things up though. I want to paint the truck into a different setting than what is shown in the image. Should be fun.

Well started to draw it out today. This is going to be a forced perspective angle from the front so at the stage I'm at right now it doesn't look like it will fit on the page, but it will. uploadfromtaptalk1411757645855.jpg

Added some background details. Little old barn, tall grasses up close and a tree line on the horizon. uploadfromtaptalk1412276197741.jpg
Not digging that particular barn may make more changes...still undecided on the bestop:confused::confused:

Here's what I did with my free 5 minutes I had to work on the painting today.088160223607f1da34bc7aac667a4ce7_9be9bf834c00fa5cbceea8525a39ddaa7bee2572.jpg
Little bit of base yellows, thinking about doing the background with some fall colors.
