I am trying to install ProEFX towing mirrors on my 14 taco. The turn signals are supposed work plug and play. Except you have to install a fuse and or a relay. I'm hoping some one with factory side mirror turn signals can take a picture of both of the fuse blocks and post it. This way I can see where I need to plug in a fuse or relay.

    Thanks in advance

Maybe they're labeled inside the fuse cover? I think there are 3 different fuse box location.

I went through my Manual and looked at all my fuses can't find a darn thing for Signal mirrors. There are empty slots in the fuse blocks and the manual calls them out as blank. Since my manual is a TRD Offroad manual I'm guessing it eliminates those spots. Offroad trucks don't have the mirror signal function enabled. Looking at mine though it is wired for it.
The plug going to my mirrors has the five wires instead of just three for remote mirror control.

The other problem is if it's a relay issue then the Manual doesn't show any of the relays and what they do.

your truck should be pre-wired since its a V6 4x4, mine was. in this case just tap the wires that are run to the mirror harness connector in the door itself. i wouldnt bother with relays / fuses for the signal part (unless they are heated?) just piggy back off the factory connector.

(i have read where some Offroads were not pre-wired for signals though)

I have 5 wires going to the Connector and the New Mirror has 5 wires in it's connector. The harness is plug and play as far as the remote mirror control goes that works fine.

Thanks, for the Fuse box pictures, I'll print it up and look when I get home.

HEHE, let me try to explain. The new mirrors have the same connector as the factory. So it pluged right in to it. The problem is the turn signal wires arn't live at the moment.

The loose connector is the heater connector. The truck connection is the right side end the new mirror wires are the left.

Any chance there is a 2012-14 wiring diagram for the turn signal systemthat some one can share?

    You have a Private message.

It seems the signal wires ( Lavender / white for the right side and Pink for the left side come straight from the T20 Flasher

    Ken,
I have a 2014 and am also experiencing the same problem. I found a 2013 wiring diagram here. It looks to me that if your rear signals are working then the side mirror signals should work (but I could be misunderstanding the diagrams). My rear signals work, so something must be different between 2013 and 2014. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. :(

I think I might have just figured it out. I'm pretty sure the pink and blue w/white stripe wires in Willie B's fuse box photo are the +12v wires for the side mirror signals (pink is left; blue w/white stripe is right). In my truck, those wires are not connected to that plug! So maybe if I can find the ends of those wires and get them connected to that plug, then the signals will work.

I havnt been able to return to this issue since i posted this. Between my truck going in to the body shop and me traveling I have been unable to mess withthe mirrors.

Thank you for looking into it.

Id love to get my hands on a sport withturnsignal mirrors to figure this out.

I've been trying to figure the same thing out. i was thinking of just running an add a fuse from the L & R rear turn signals to the wires in the doors + a ground. Other than that I don't know what else to do
