OEM 2014 Tacoma Navigation Radio

Well its Friday and I paid on Monday but I haven't heard anything back about the radio. I sent a PM and an email to him but he hasn't responded at all. The mail guy just dropped off so it isn't showing up today. For anyone that has purchased one did you get the invoice?

+1. That's who I received my invoice from. But I haven't received anything back yet either.

 

I get nervous when I order something but don't hear back from the seller when I send emails but hopefully it shows up with the mail today. keeping my fingers crossed.

 

I got confirmation from a friend that we are dealing with the right guy. He's probably just swamped getting these things out. Don't stress yet

 

That is fine if he is swamped but I've PM'd and emailed him several times and haven't gotten a single response back and the mail guy just went by so it looks like it isn't showing up today either. A quick email to let me know what is going on is all I ask.

 

I agree with what LiquidDragon is saying. Fltruck might be swamped with all these orders and pm's being send to him, but Fltruck should make an effort to put out a list with who is on the list and to whom he is or is going to be shipping next. he said that he has experience because he used to work on a place where customer satisfaction is the number one priority.
I might be new on this forum, but not in this World.

 

Be patient. It took about a week and a half for me to get the notice that my package was on the way. It arrived very shortly after and was perfect.

 

Sounds good but from other posts on here I figured it would show up within a few days of paying. The last couple people that received the navigation unit were posting that they received it two to three days after paying. I also don't mind waiting a week or two to receive it but a quick email or PM with a status is all that I was asking for.

 

Just to let everyone know I have not forgotten about this forum board. I do however have a lot of personal matters that I do have to attend to. It is a very tough time right now and I do not have anytime to get around to messaging a lot of you guys on here. I do understand that a lot of people want to get there hands on a unit and a very interested and happen to get frustrated when I am unable to respond back immediately so until I get through the personal problems I will not be able to have any available for a bit. It could be a time frame of 1-2 months depending on how things are going on my end. Sorry for any of the inconvenience.

 

looks like i will be spending the next few days removing this foot from my mouth. Thanks for the PM FL and hope everything works out.

 

Good to know. Now we all know that you are going through some personal matters and we can be patient about you handling what ever it is on your half. Thanks that's all we needed to know.

 

Anyone figure out the 2012 USB hookup for this radio?

 

He's not an online retailer so don't treat him like one. Even I had to wait a couple months before he responded to my request to purchase a unit. The unit was brand new and was actually JUST manufactured so I knew I got a good deal. The responses in the post can even, or should I say SHOULD, put you at ease that Fltrucks does not mess anyone over.

I will be looking to get another one but for my car since this is such a good deal and everything works as it should, no remote though but it wouldn't matter because I'll be touching the screen for everything anyways. The sound quality coming out of this unit is actually damn good even when using a good line out converter. I'll figure out how to wire everything in to work with my car.

 

Do a search in the car audio section and you'll find the adapter you need.

 

Just wanted to drop a note here real quick...FLTrucks got my unit shipped even though he was having personal issues! Thanks Man! Worked perfectly even in my 2006! I had to create a Voice Activation Switch and connect a wire to the VSS (not sure if it was needed), but with the help of tacomaworld, I got that sorted too!

For a 2012, I was able to combine the two following products and a short USB extension cable to get the factory USB to work with not modification necessary to the existing wiring.
