Wow, you are pretty lucky though. I've paid my insurance premiums, deductibles, tickets, car payments and maintenance since I was 16. I'd rather work for it than have it given to me, but again, that's how my family is. Again, good luck.

oh yah i will and it had the oppertuninty to be worse the lady in the jeep had her 2 year old granddaughter with her. i thought i was gunna be screwed but everybody said they were ok. and hopefully i get the truck back sooner than they say

you'll be alright, You know I'am a parent myself and I do admit I over react many times I just do that becuase I don't want anything to happen to my children. Your parents are going over and over of what COULD have happened, I'd probably say the same thing about you not haveing the truck for a year....but like I said be cool about it...give them time..they will come around...When you become a parent you'll probably do the same and will understand how they feel about their "baby"....laters dude

 

Yes that is true but i have to pay the insurance deductable already so i should just go ahead and have my truck in there with it sao i only have to pay the 500 dollars one time not twice

 

A little word of advice about driving... don't just look at the car in front of you, look ahead of that one and maybe even the one in front of that. That way you will see brake lights alot sooner (especially if the guy in front of you isn't paying attention).

The car in front of you might have stopped for someone in the crosswalk or a car coming the other way wasn't stopping.

I thank God for the car next to me a couple of weeks ago. Our light turned green and the car next to me (in the left turn lane) didn't have an arrow, but started honking her horn, and didn't move at all. I was in my Camry and she was in an SUV, so I couldn't see down the road. I couldn't figure out why she also didn't move up any and why the heck she was honking her horn. I inched up and saw the car that wasn't stopping. If it wasn't for her honking, I'd have been broadsided by an IDIOT that didn't stop at the light. Also, if she had moved up, I wouldn't have seen the other vehicle at all.

So, there might have been something that you couldn't see... Keep your eyes open and moving.
