You get what what you pay for and I've heard of a lot of people beating there DB's and they held up. Like said ultimately It's my decision and I'm going with the Fabtech w/ dirt logic I'm sure it will hold up for everything I need it to. This thread has definitely Helped. Thanks for all the info

When you say beating up DBs I assume you mean the truck and not guys in affliction shirts driving an Audi? Hahah

Im pretty hard on mine as well and I know I could do more with a different set up. I love my truck and with the cash I've got in it I'm allowed to voice my opinions. I don't give a crap which way people go, I just try to give real advice because I wish I got it before I bought a truck with a 6 inch lift installed. :p

Can you run 16s or 17s with the procomp without spacers. And are you happy with the procomp

I run 17s, no spacers and my BS is 4.75. I'm about 1/4 inch from binding on my wheel and I have no sway bar.

I have Pro Comp 6" with 17's and had to run spacers. Passenger side front wheel wouldn't even bolt on it was hitting the tie rod.

The driver side fit fine without spacers.

FYI my wheels have 4.5" backspacing too

I have 16's but needed spacers to clear the tie rods by just a few millimeters.

I know I can go hard on the curb crawling when I have to parallel park on my street. All the sidewall on my 285x75s comes in handy. What sucks is the weird looks I get when I need to air down to 18 psi to get the sidewalls to flex and grab the curb. :p

I tagged a rock so hard that I bent the DB at the cam tab. Fortunately It didn't cause any binding and I was able to bend it back. The TC lower took most of the hit and just got scratched

sup peeps, just curious....I purchased my truck last year. 09 4x4 taco with a 6" Pro Comp with 35". Now, I bought it like this. At first I thought I was running a stage 1, just found out recently it's a stage 2. Also found out I have no sway bar. I love the truck! Only thing is right now I have only been mall crawling, trying to get a couple of things cause I eventually do want to go on a week long trip. I want to do trails and do some nice riding. Maybe one day do the moab. '

Now, my question is, with this setup how hard could I go? I have heard a bad rep from pro comp but I'm just looking for honest opinions. keep it? get something else? if I keep it, how crazy can i get off-roading? stick to trails? or some nice rocks? pros and cons?lmk, I'm all ears and want to learn...Thanks in advance
