thats a serious video. it really shows that most companies overlook alot of the small things, or peoples carelessness, the last restaraunt i was working at, a very similiar accident happened to the one in the video. thank good for those heavy rubber mats. i owe my life to those things.

I'd love to see one for my workspace..."It's my fault. I really should take a break every hour so that my ass won't fall asleep and set the pins and needles in."

I understand what he means. I had to watch "silly" videos at work too. It's not the topic that's silly, it's the terrible acting, exagerated blood and gore, and dumb jokes. The videos that were posted seem well thought out and executed. They aren't like many cheesy safety videos I've seen.

OMG it landed about 3 feet from me.... gotta say i almost shit bricks.... God spared me....

Where I work it is mandatory to go through 8 hours of safety training every year, and there really is no "accidents" , they were showing us a video of a construction "accident" the men were rushing to put a 75 ton crane away because they wanted to go home and the operator put too much tension on the cable and it snapped and cut the ground man in half, only to find out that is one of our men from our company, we had all heard of the accident but never knew it was on film, the room got pretty quiet.

These videos were actually much better than the last dozen that I have watched in this past month. I caught some videos for BP, and Chevron one for a spud meeting and some for a C.W.O.P. I would appreciate seeing more like these.
