Yeah I'd grab a 4x4 slash. Easy to work on, a ton of parts, and pretty capable.

    Cheaper one is probably 2wd.
4wd is way more worth it.

Don't buy that unless you want a tiny rc car! That is 1/16 scale. standard size is 1/10 scale and a little bigger is the 1/8 scale.

Yeah, 1/10 is the smallest you can have fun with at the beach. 1/16 just gets stuck too much. 1/8 is da best though :D

So far it's what, 3 monsters vs. 3 racers? Gonna be 4 monsters once Miles takes care of buisness :p

Here is how my monster sits tonight:

We been beating up on it so much lately, I decided to give it a cleaning. Going to clean out the front and rear bulkheads and check on my diffs. Then clean out the trans next week when my new $2 low CG chassis comes in! I can't bileive it was only $2!

They make a 4wd truck, but not with the GD body :(

But the painted body is like $45, and could get the wheels too.. Then throw them on a 4x4!

For a second there I thought you said you had one.. I was gonna say bring that beast out! :D

But yeah, $400 or less for a brushless 4x4 monster truck is great! And the parts support for Traxxas is so great, its a no brainer.
