    sounds good!

the planned route will come out on buckshot lake road north of the 41. this is more of an early season get outside run, not a hardcore wheeling trail by any means, no tight spots unless we want to find them. i've never gone through this early in the year so it could be a bit more challenging if things are still wet. there's a few nice views along the ride. lots of lakes and good spots for lunch.

so the main line through that the plan will take is still fully snow packed and covered as it is a snowmobile trail in the winter, the one area that is clear up there was plowed for logging all winter, it was pretty soft over the wknd. lets see what the next 10 days does to this snowy mess.

ok...I am heading up to my camp this friday to fell a few trees...will you be in the area?
I think the Sunday after easter (the 27th) works better for me. With my job sometimes I have to work last minute so its really hard to plan/commit to anything.

09 TRD AC stock for now
I'm from Gatineau. I just bought a 09 Tacoma TRD access cab. I would like to join you if you think I can hit that trail stock. I did not had the chance to make any mod yet but I was thinking on putting Cooper ST Maxx stock size with a 2 in. lift soon.

your truck would be just fine stock, i did see somebody blow a rear diff in a tacoma along this trail but that was purely due to retarded driving!

you will like the st maxx, i'm running them on the new truck and have no complaints so far.

hey tombiosis, where you hiding at?! i'm good for this wknd, tmrw or sunday.

    Gent's,

Seeing as we don't all monitor this site, even more so this thread regularly, why not send a PM to those interested in a wheeling venture as that may yield better results and turnout.
    Include me too pls :D

I'm in Ottawa. Would be up for a mod day or some wheeling but i tend to do really light wheeling mostly camping.

I would be interrested too if the trail is easy enough for my stock TRD Off-Road. I'll probably have either Cooper ST Maxx or Goodyear Duratrac 265-75-16 by the time.

Sub, ottawa area has many trails but its basically

    1. Stock friendly(quite a few, Gorge is one)

    2. Stock Doable(Trails like Lavant come to mind)

    3. Requiring lift/tight trails

If you hook up with EOTB they are a good group of guys that will tell you what trails you're capable of doing.
