Went to dealer to possibly buy Tacoma but hit a dilemna

    Personally, I'd skip the built-in GPS. After market units are much cheaper and every bit as good. Plus, when they break, it doesn't cost a grand to fix them. They're easy to update and you can use them in another vehicle.

    I agree, especially since it does have the same screen as a Nav equipped unit.

    Hey everyone. I kept up with the posts and slept on it coming to the conclusion that I'd be better off with the sport. Especially after seeing some of the trucks in the mgm thread I can see myself trying to get rid of the chrome and I'd rather save myself a couple thousand off the top as well. As for the offroad, its a nice package as well but I'll admit I'm more of a street person and probably would never use the locker. Just want to say a big thanks to everyone for their patience and really looking forward to being a Tacoma owner. Everyone I know with Toyotas love them and IMO the Tacoma is one of if not the best looking trucks on the market currently and I definitely want this body style before they make any changes. Its no race car but the v6 definitely surprised me power wise and hoping it makes it to 200k+ :)
