I did the work last night and it was pretty easy. Hardest part was removing the shroud around the steering column. This is my first Toyota in a long long time and I need to get used to how the trim is assembled. It is a lot different than a GM H Body.

Works like a champ. Tested on the way home tonight in the rain.

Been lovin them long time! Now add the cruise control if you don't have it. Not much more difficult......if you don't already have it.

    .
Researching that mod now. To tell the truth air bags scare me a lot so I will be pretty cautious.

Seems pretty easy and uncomplicated. I need to price it out.

Did this MOD as well as the Cruise Control. The only things that you have to worry about with the Cruise is, disconnect the battery and when you set the airbag down they recommend that is be placed face up. Also if you have a manual make sure that you have a 14mm stubby wrench. The rest is really easy.

Same here. The cost was $118 delivered. I ordered it on a Thursday and it was waiting for me when I came home on Monday. Really quick shipping.

I got all my stuff...stalk, cc wire, clutch sw & st wheel side cover for about 120 shipped. As was said, just undo battery. The lower half of the dash comes off really easy where you can see & get to the clutch sw bracket. 2 bolts & the rest unclips then a few bolts to move fuse panel & you're there. Drive by wire so no parts under the hood.

scored a sweet deal on a stalk....net cost 66 bucks. woot.

anyways...used them for the first time last night. been 7 years since i've driven a car with them on a regular basis. seemed so weird not flicking the stalk every few minutes in a light drizzile.
