Wtf! If you can bend pipe to build a bumoer. You can make a square box. Doesn't even have to be thick metal. Even some sheet metal works

 

A hole in the middle with a 2 inch tube. That way the clip from the spare tire can fit in and use that to raise and lower the box

 

I think it's a really good idea. Tire plug kit, led work light, small JIC tool kit.

 

Don't forget axles, spindles, straps, and jumper cables, whatever else fits inside there

We touched on that topic at jambo. I'm just going to buy some relentless fab ones. Then the Baja will be "done" and be a chase/recovery type of truck. "Casper" will be getting all the attention for wheeling mods.

 

It's not about the length of time for them, it's about me forking out $600 for their sliders. I really like their two piece kickout design though. I'm in no rush to get them right now though. After last nights trip, I had no friggin idea how far you are from houston!

has anybody done the safari snorkel on the gen 2 before? i want one but the fact that its not technically made for the gen 2s is a bit scary

Neither the airflow nor the safari are a perfect fit. Pick one and start drilling.
